4. Contents and Effectiveness of Training Courses:
The main task was to establish a 4-star hotel service standard for Zibo Hotel. Upon arrival at Zibo Hotel in Shandong, the team carried out an analysis and investigation into the problems of the enterprise. After compiling a diagnosis report on the basis of the enterprise diagnosis, courses targeting the weak parts of enterprise management were arranged. On completion of the joint courses, departmental training courses were launched by different departments, which were mainly about the provision of training required for hotel operation. With enhanced professional knowledge after the training, the personnel at each department had acquired a better concept of hotel business and had more ideas in the operation of the business. At the present, the average room price has risen from approximately RMB 250 to about RMB 400 and the annual average room occupancy rate has reached over 80%. Customer satisfaction has also risen accordingly.
